Good points Shirley - it really is important to plan for retirement ahead of time rather than after you have arrived. Budgeting for retirement expenses, decisions on where to live, how long to continue working - all come into play and need to be addressed up front. And I think that an exercise "routine" needs to be created, something you do on a consistent basis. Exercise that you - if not enjoy - at least don't hate - walk around the neighborhood, stretching while watching your favorite show, even some of the DVDs available have routines that vary to keep you interested. Heck, 50 is YOUNG - as long as you are healthy and can keep smiling!
